He noted that these measures were not coordinated with the presidential administration.

“They should not be consistent. But, in fairness, it should be noted that, apparently, not everything was calculated, ”said Peskov.

First of all, according to him, this concerns the high cost of analyzes.

“This is the very fact that most of the equipment, consumables that were to be used in these analyzes, at present can only be imported. This is absolutely not correlated with the attitudes given by the government and the head of state regarding the localization of production, ”said the spokesman for the Russian leader.

Peskov added that the situation should not go to the point of absurdity.

“If in this way it reaches the point of absurdity, then naturally, probably, the Ministry of Health will make the necessary adjustments,” he said, commenting on the remark that, judging by the new analysis that will need to be taken, any person who drinks alcohol in any dose with once a month will be considered an alcoholic.

Earlier, the first Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Alexander Buksman said that the Ministry of Health, introducing new rules for medical examination of drivers, made a mistake.

The new procedure for conducting a medical examination of drivers was to enter into force on November 22.

But the Ministry of Health decided to postpone this innovation for six months. The new rules will be effective from July 1, 2020.

On November 21, URA.RU reported that a huge queue had formed in the Kurgan drug dispensary from those wishing to receive a medical certificate at the old price, until it increased several times. Hundreds of people gathered in a small room.

A similar situation has developed in many other cities of Russia.
