Arne Hegerfors: "I'm used to not remembering"

2019-11-22T08:43:46.225Z

When Arne Hegerfors was in his 70s, he suffered a heart attack, stroke and brain tumor within the course of 4 years. In Question Doctor he talks about the failing memory and health, but also about love and his best sports memories.

For more than 40 years, Arne Hegerfors was one of the most famous sports commentators in television. During the 1980s and 1990s he was also the program manager for several entertainment programs.

- The sports associations heard and wanted me to comment (major championships ed. Note), because they often won while I was there. But it was a coincidence, of course, says Arne Hegerfors to Ask the Doctor.

In recent years, however, the memory has begun to fail and now the memory is completely gone.

- I've grown used to not remembering, so I'm not as worried every time, says Arne Hegerfors.

You can see the entire interview with Arne Hegerfors in the Question Doctor on Monday 25 November.
