This was reported in the press service of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia.

“It is planned that a special course will be created for students not only of a legal, but also of a technical profile within the framework of the discipline for observing human rights, in which they will be trained in countering the threats posed by artificial intelligence,” TASS quotes an employee of the apparatus.

Currently, this proposal is being developed by a special group of drafters.

“Now it’s already obvious that this course will be constantly adjusted, filled with new things in accordance with technological development,” the spokesman emphasized.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin called for maximum support for startups in the field of artificial intelligence and several times increase the volume and quality of training programmers, mathematicians, computer linguists and data processing specialists.

In October, Russia approved a strategy for the development of artificial intelligence until 2030.

The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, Oleg Smolin, in an interview with the NSN, assessed the possibility of introducing a digital system of monitoring student performance based on artificial intelligence in some Russian universities.
