November 14, 2019The European Court of Human Rights initiated proceedings against Italy and Germany on the case of the Thyssen Krupp plant in Turin on December 6, 2007.

It was the relatives of the victims and one of the survivors, Antonio Boccuzzi, who turned to the Court of Strasbourg, accusing the two governments of violating their rights, in particular that of respect for life, because despite a sentence condemning the Italian courts in the 2016 of two German managers, these remain at liberty.
