Eight authors remain in contention for Goncourt high school students who will be awarded Thursday in Rennes, closing the season of literary awards.

The eight authors, including the unfortunate finalist of the Goncourt Amélie Nothomb prize, were chosen at the end of the regional deliberations that took place simultaneously Tuesday in six cities (Lyon, Metz, Marseille, Nantes, Paris and Rennes).

Twelve high school students, appointed during these six regional deliberations, will meet in Rennes, cradle of the prize, for the great national deliberation, Thursday.

They will announce the winner at 12:45 from the Rennes City Hall.

Goncourt high school students is one of the most prescriptive prices for book sales.
