Clear: Three elderly homes in Oskarshamn are closed for good

After a long debate with many replicas, the City Council finally decided to close down the three residences by a vote.

Earlier, the Oskarshamn municipality's social committee had proposed the closure of three elderly homes, two in Misterhult and one in Oskarshamn.

The closure will save SEK 30 million over two years. The elderly will be relocated to another accommodation in central Oskarshamn.
