At the end of September, Nina Burchardt (S) announced that after the end of the year she will quit as chair of the cultural and leisure committee and leave the policy.

"Release younger abilities" was then called, but in a post on social media she now breaks the silence and sharp criticism of her own party.

Nina Burchardt says she was forced out of politics after announcing that she had found the love of a Swedish Democratic parliamentarian.

She writes that that relationship was first met with hugs and delight from her own party but that it was then switched to an internal conflict which resulted in her being forced to resign all her political assignments.

“I was not allowed to attend any meetings or lead and direct the work of the board. So I would sit there, but not participate in anything, ”she writes, stating that the Social Democrats in Hudiksvall chair, Jim Svensk Larm, are now denying the situation.

In an email to SVT Gävleborg, the Social Democrats write that the board was called to an extra meeting after internal and external issues about the situation had arisen and that the issue needed to be raised in the board.

“Nobody from the party leadership locally has heard of them, instead they are running with complete freezing. After all these years of commitment, they now want me to leave, the only crime I have committed is that I am in love and happy, ”writes Nina Burchardt.

However, the Social Democrats Hudiksvall emphasizes that it is not confidence in Nina Burchardt as a person discussed within the party. Instead, the party believes that it is her function as one of the municipality's top politicians in relation to a member of the Swedish Democrats' national board.

"A party that stands as far from social democratic values ​​as possible," writes the party in the email.
