The 19-year-old is suspected of several cases of child rape

The 19-year-old man is suspected of raping children and he is also suspected of having sex with underage girls in exchange for alcohol and drugs.

- The data came from two girls who told each other independently about this. The man himself denies the crime. His attitude is that it is purely inventive, says prosecutor Fredrik Beijar.

The rape must have taken place in Katrineholm and has been going on from the beginning of the year until the middle of August this year. On Thursday, the 19-year-old who has been detained since October 1 was arrested.

- Yes, he has been arrested today and three more suspicions of crime were added. A new landmark has emerged during the journey and it is not excluded that it will emerge further, says Fredrik Beijar.

At present, there are three litigants in the case, all of whom are girls under 18.

- Each landowner may have been exposed more than once. Right now we are investigating this. We hold hearings with the girls who have been exposed and girls who have been witnesses, says Fredrik Beijar.

According to Fredrik Beijar, the investigation will take longer than expected.

- We have a prosecution time on November 12, but we will hardly be finished then. My hope is then to have a clear picture of how long it can take. Right now it's a bit unclear.
