President of the Syrian regime Bashar al-Assad threatened the war against Turkey, saying that the Russian-Turkish agreement on the north of Syria is temporary, and contributes to restrain the Turkish ambition to achieve more damage by occupying more Syrian territory and blocking the way for the Americans.

"The Turks are proxies for the Americans, and when they don't get out of Syrian territory" by all means, "there will be no choice but to war," he said in an interview with the Syrian and Syrian news channels.

Assad said that the Turkish army was cooperating with the Syrian army, and that "the political forces in Turkey are mostly against the policies of Erdogan, we must be careful not to turn Turkey into an enemy, and here comes the role of friends, the role of Russia and the Iranian role."

He also said that Trump is the best American president because he is the most transparent. He says we want oil and this is the reality of American policy.

The president of the Syrian regime pointed out that his country does not have the ability to confront America, "it is a great country and our task is to create the conditions for any resistance against the occupier.

The killing of Baghdadi
Regarding the US military operation in which al-Baghdadi was killed, Assad said, "We did not participate in the killing of al-Baghdadi and Damascus does not know if the operation is real or not." He wondered why Baghdadi's body was not shown after the operation.

"This is the same scenario as bin Laden, who is part of the American tricks. We should not believe everything they say unless they bring evidence."

Relationship with the Kurds
The president of the Syrian regime said that the Kurds in most of them have always been in good relations with the state and put forward real national ideas, and that the mistake in the north is that a group of Kurds have set themselves up as representatives of the Kurds as well as Arabs.

"We have the right to defend the unity of Syria and to be wary of separatist proposals," Assad said. He stressed that there are still obstacles to the arrival of the Syrian army to all areas of the north and our goal to return to the previous situation.

The situation in Idlib
Regarding the situation in Idlib, Assad said that if the militants in Idlib did not go to Turkey, they had two options: either return to the state or war.

He explained that it was agreed with Russia and Iran on a specific date for the Idlib process and was postponed several times for military or political reasons.

"We, the Russians and the Iranians are fighting one military battle and one political battle."
