It was when her daughter Isolde Öhrvall was six years old that the interest in halloween started to grow in the family.

- Then we lived in a three-room apartment and had invited 16 dressed children with swords and such at a three-hour Halloween party. I remember thinking, "Oh my god, these hours can only end because soon they'll kill each other well with the toy extensions". They were a little smaller then, so it was quite lively, says mom Angelica Öhrvall.

intimidated

But despite the somewhat wild start that mom Angelica Öhrvall got as a halloween host, her daughter's interest continued to develop. This year is the fourth time the family is hosting a hallowen party.

And one of the points of this year's celebration that was greatly appreciated was when the older children were given the task of intimidating the smaller ones during the treasure hunt held outdoors.

Expanded repertoire

- We have expanded our repertoire for each year and now the children are in their 10s, so now is the most fun. They still think it's fun while they appreciate it better than when they were younger.

What do you get out of this and how do you manage to get on so big?

- It's great fun for people who have had their children's minds back, so now I just want to take care until the children get too big and tired of this, says Angelica Öhrvall.

Most driving

Is the rest of the family equally enthusiastic about the annual house transformation then?

- So the most driving thing in this is Isolde herself, but even little sister Haley, who is almost three years old, runs and kisses and praises all the ornament ghosts when they arrive on the scene and she is completely fearless. But the two oldest have clearly grown in from it, says Angelica Öhrvall.

How long will your house retain its Halloween look?

- There will probably be every two weeks like this for we have a children's party so I can't actually clean everything up before the party is over, says Angelica Öhrvall.
