“With the entry into force of the law, Russian users will not feel any changes on their own, the quality of communication will not deteriorate,” TASS quoted the press secretary of the Ministry of Communications Yevgeny Novikov as saying.

He noted that the implementation of the law is going according to plan.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the provision on conducting exercises to ensure sustainable Internet in the country.

In late September, telecom operators began installing equipment under this law.

The law on sustainable Runet was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in early May.
