In a video message posted on his Twitter page, Johnson noted the parliament’s “hopelessness” due to last week’s EU-UK agreement on a new Brexit deal.

According to him, the parliament supported the deal, but also voted to postpone Brexit.

“The best way for our country is to realize that this parliament has openly outlived itself, and the time has come to hold general elections,” Johnson concluded.

Earlier, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker announced Johnson's spread of lies during the Brexit referendum.

On October 22, it was reported that Johnson would “suspend” parliament’s consideration of a bill to leave Britain from the European Union and would consult with the EU on extending the Brexit process.

Such a statement was made after members of the British Parliament refused to consider the Brexit bill within three days.
