According to the first reports, several people have been threatened by a man with a firearm-like object outdoors on Karolingatan in Malmö. When police patrols arrive, the perpetrator has left the scene on foot. Two people are found to have minor wound injuries but are not in need of ambulance care.
About thirty minutes after police arrived at the scene, three suspected offenders are located at an address near Karolingatan.
"We cannot at this time tell in detail what has happened more than that we have a picture of the course of events and that the preliminary investigation is continuing," says Rickard Lunqvist at the police command center:
The three men are arrested for grossly unlawful threats and serious weapons offenses.
