S does not want to save at preschool

The Social Democrats also adjust the administration's savings proposals for the Children and Exclusion Committee in Halmstad and, among other things, agree with the Alliance when it comes to making savings on school food by SEK 2 million.

- It's perfectly reasonable. Meal costs have skyrocketed in recent years, says Lars El Hayek (S), vice chairman of the Children and Youth Board in Halmstad.

He emphasizes that school and preschool had 13 million more in the Social Democrats' budget proposals earlier this year.

- Then you would not have had to prioritize hard. Which must be done now, says Lars El Hayek (S).

He believes that preschool has already been hit by tough cuts, which is why the Social Democrats do not want to save another penny on that budget line.
