Höör became the winner on the tax increase

There seems to be a surplus of 33 million in Höör this year. Two years ago, 30 million were missing and the then municipal management decided to raise the tax. It was raised by as much as 95 øre, which meant that Höör received the second highest municipal tax in Skåne. Only Osby has a higher tax rate.

- It was unnecessary to raise the tax by 95 öre then, but the money may be needed in 2022 or 2023, says the current municipal council Johan Svahnberg (M) in Höör.

The tax increase accounts for about half of the municipality's surplus this year. The other half comes from various savings measures in, among other things, child and elderly care.
