An investigation was opened after the assault of a transgender person also victim of homophobic insults in the city center of La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée) in the night from Saturday to Sunday. The victim, who complained, was hospitalized and the doctor ordered him "three days of total incapacity for work (ITT)," said the prosecutor.
Two unidentified individuals
The investigation was opened for "violence because of the sexual orientation of the victim", and noted that the attack was caused by "two individuals, but have not yet been identified" . The analysis of video surveillance images should allow to bring new elements on this case deemed "sensitive" by the prosecution.
