The Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation carried out a support convoy for those affected by floods and floods in the state of White Nile, which is located in central Sudan and is one of the most affected states.Aid included 10,000 food basket containing basic food items, in addition to 358 tents distributed to those who lost their homes.

The UAE delegation was received by the Governor of the White Nile State in charge of Major General Haider Ahmed Tarifi and members of his government.

An official source in the delegation of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation said that the aid comes under the guidance of our wise leadership to help the Sudanese people, adding that today we are carrying out the third phase of relief and are present in the White Nile State and its villages. The suffering of the population, together with the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Sudan, has worked to provide relief to more than 50,000 people in this stricken area.

The source pointed out that the relief team carried out the first phase in the areas of Al-Jili and Woodramli and distributed 4000 food parcels and 400 tents to the families who lost their homes, and the second phase in the state of the island was distributed 6000 food parcels with 200 tents.

For his part, the Governor of the White Nile State said that the humanitarian efforts and support of the UAE and its continued support to the Sudanese people are appreciated and praised by the Sudanese people, who have a friendly and respectful relationship with the UAE leadership, government and people.
