The woman was missing from her company at 3.30 pm. They had been out to pick mushrooms near Bäckeskogsvallen, about seven kilometers west of the village of Hennan, Ljusdal municipality, about three miles northwest of Ljusdal.
After the woman was missing, the company searched for themselves, but at 16.30 the police were alerted. Several police patrols participated in the search. The woman was reported to have no cell phone with her.
A helicopter was deployed in the search and a dog patrol was flown in from Östersund. The forest is said to be very dense in the area, which made helicopter tension more difficult.
At 19.15, the influential dog patrol found the woman. She is reported to feel well after the circumstances, and was not in need of medical care from the ambulance called, according to police.
