“Until there is a real desire to compromise, there will be no government,” Israeli President quoted newsru.co.il as saying.
In response, Netanyahu said that "the current situation requires the creation of a government of national unity."
It is noted that the prime minister promised to return the mandate to the president if he fails to form a government.
