On Wednesday, the artist Pidde P and the Swedish Sports Federation's "Movement initiative in school" came to Ersängsskolan in Umeå. The hope is that dance and music will make all students move during the school day.
It is about getting the kids started during both breaks and lessons. The hope is that the children will discover the joy of moving and at Ersängsskolan they are already working on this.
- Here we have tried to increase the movement for children through dance and gymnastics. Three times a week we have recreational gym with varied activities, says recreation manager Yossef Boukhris.
