The alarm came at 22 o'clock on Wednesday evening. It had then started to burn in a sauna and spa department on Östanskär hunting and conference. A heavy cloud of smoke is rising from the building, which stands on a hill next to the other conference buildings.
- We have a lot of people there and work full time. It is not many meters to the nearest building. They have a full job to limit it, says Lars Dolk, internal commander at the rescue service in Medelpad.
He continues:
- There is a sauna and spa area and so is the changing room. It is a fairly large building that cannot be salvaged.
