Japan's ruling Liberal Democrats postponed their plans to visit Korea on a cruise ship to Busan, the Yomiuri Shimbun reported.

Reportedly, members of the Liberal Democratic Party's Cruise Promotion Association, led by former Secretary of State Takeo Kawamura, departed from Kanazawa, Busan, and boarded a cruise ship to Fukuoka on the 2nd of next month. I was planning to inspect my back.

The inspection team, which consisted of about 30 members of the Liberal Democratic Party and the chief adviser of the Japan Council of Tourism Promotion, also promoted a plan to go to Seoul during talks on the cruise ship to Seoul and talk with key South Koreans.

However, we postponed the inspection plan in light of the high level of conflict between the two countries over the issue of reimbursement and the Japanese government's response to retaliation.

A representative of the Association for Tourism Promotion argued that the Korean government's export backlash was so strong that it could not guarantee the safety of its members.

The Federation will look at the future situation to determine whether to revisit the inspection, including the plan to visit Korea.

Meanwhile, Yomiuri says there is a possibility that Japan's bipartisan Japan-Japan congressional union and the Korea-Japan congressional union will hold a two-day general meeting in Tokyo from February 18.

Yomiuri says he is also considering delaying the joint meeting and will decide whether to hold it soon.

Yomiuri said, "The Japan-Japan Parliamentary Union has worked to complement diplomatic diplomacy through mutual visits even when the relations between the two countries have deteriorated, but now the leading lawmakers in both countries have politicized and tapered."
