“We have always treated with understanding the provision of all kinds of material support to countries in need, and even called for this to many EU countries. Nevertheless, such assistance often moved from economy to politics, ”the deputy said.

He also noted that the European Union with such monetary support may try to pull countries onto its side.

“At the same time, we believe that economic reforms are necessary, but they cannot be linked to political issues. I think that today the existing parity of forces in Moldova should suit both Russia and the EU countries, and cannot violate it, ”said Shvytkin.

Earlier, Khan announced that the European Union is resuming the provision of financial assistance to Moldova and is ready to allocate the country € 14.5 million in the near future.

According to him, this decision testifies to the EU’s support for Moldova and its citizens.

In addition, as noted by the European Commissioner, the EU financial assistance will be an incentive for the implementation of new reforms in Moldova.
