Comedian Franck Dubosc took the time to discuss with "yellow vests" that challenged him Friday night in Besançon on his ambiguities against the movement, shows a seven-minute video posted on Facebook.

About fifty "yellow vests". According to L'Est Républicain and Le Progrès , about fifty yellow vests were gathered in front of the Micropolis show room, where the comedian's show started half an hour late. The video is filmed by a user of the social network who calls himself a Besançon resident and who has already filmed or photographed other actions of the "yellow vests" in the agglomeration of Besançon. Franck Dubosc is behind a grid, inside the auditorium, with his team who obviously wants him to hurry.

Help the "yellow vests" fined. The filming man asks Franck Dubosc if he intends to financially help members of this movement fined, "or organize with the other artists a pot." The humorist replies that he works there. "Artists, I know that a lot of artists say to themselves: what can we do, a show, as they did with the Restos du cœur? It's hard, it does not happen at once, "he says. "Believe me, I heard the kitty, I do not know if I'll be able to raise the kitty at once, because it's difficult," he adds.

Sawtooth support. Franck Dubosc first announced in November publicly on Facebook his support for "yellow vests". Then on December 5, he told a man who was filming him while giving him an autograph that "yellow vests are the past", explaining that they were "too hateful, too snarling, to release". Finally, five days later on the C8 channel, he reaffirmed his support, pleading "a huge mistake". Friday in Besançon, the comedian said he was not going to join actions in the field. "Put a yellow vest on a roundabout, it would be to discredit your movement, it looks like: so what is it, Franck Dubosc puts a yellow vest, and he has money," he said.

But "sincerely, really, we're here, it's difficult because it's not really our job, politics, I'm a clown, I'm Patrick Chirac," he said.
