A special Israeli force stormed Sunday the Negev Desert Detention Center and assaulted Palestinian prisoners using sound bombs, gas and bullets against the detainees who had stabbed two of the jailers.
The attack on the prisoners left at least nine wounded, while five of them were transferred to a medical center in Beersheva for treatment without indicating the seriousness of their injuries.
The Jerusalem Post reported that two guards were stabbed by two prisoners in the prison, one of them in the neck and in serious condition, while the other was wounded in the hand while trying to take control of the prisoner.
