The Spanish newspaper reported some statistics confirming Ronaldo's superiority over Messi, since his move to Manchester United in 2003, scored 118 goals in 292 games in six seasons.

The Portugal striker's talent went on when he moved to Real Madrid in 2009, scoring 450 goals in 438 matches in nine seasons. Don scored 85 goals in 154 matches.

Ronaldo's total goals with United and Real Madrid are 742 goals in all competitions, with a great advantage over Messi, who scored 591 goals in 674 matches during his career with Barcelona.

Juventus's current star, Ronaldo, has retained Messi in the number of goals in the top five European championships in the 20th century, but by a narrow margin. Ronaldo's 414 lead is second with two goals.

Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic came in third with 268 goals, followed by Uruguayan Edison Cavani with 245, while Sergio Aguero of Argentina finished fifth with 235 goals.
