The Sharjah Criminal Court considered the case of four people from an Arab country accused of using and possessing hashish. They were caught by security teams at the place where they were using cannabis after a report that two of the accused were facilitating the use of cannabis for others. The court heard the defendants' statements, after facing charges against them. The first accused denied the charge of possession or possession of cannabis, and said that all the statements in his testimony that were signed in the investigations were untrue and asked to hear the statements of those who investigated him.

The second defendant said that he did not use cannabis and facilitate the use of any accused, but he lives with them in the same housing, noting that when they were caught and beaten by the security teams was with them, but did not take cannabis.

The third accused of using cannabis, denied the facilitation of his treatment of the first and second accused, and said he was abused the same day he was caught by the security teams, and admitted this in the investigations. The fourth defendant denied all the charges against him and said that he had been in his country for 15 days before entering the country. When he was examined by the criminal laboratory, he was found to be using cannabis.

The court confronted the first and second defendants with the results of the criminal labs that showed cannabis abuse. They held back their denial and retracted their confessions in the investigations.

The court adjourned the case to a hearing on April 22 to hear the statement.
