At the place of service of the suspects, searches were conducted, and the documentation relevant to the investigation was seized. The court arrested one of the policemen. The issue of electing a preventive measure to the second police officer is being resolved.
“Three previously detained accomplices were accused of complicity in five crime episodes under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (fraud on a large scale), and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen, ”the IC said.
Earlier in Moscow, officers of the UK and the FSB conducted searches of police officers suspected of real estate fraud.
