Shaken by financial difficulties in 2018, Rennes festival dedicated to video games in all its forms is from May 11 to 19, 2019.
The 2018 edition welcomed 12,000 festival-goers and festivalgoers and was watched live by one million people around the world. The Stunfest is a festival of video game cultures. We discover the video game in singular forms: objects to play, touch and experiment, performances to see and cheer, or meetings to listen, debate and share.
Despite the threats to the future of the festival and thanks to the reaction and commitment of its partners, 3 Hit Combo joyfully confirms that a 15th edition will take place. Last May, the festival solicited a reaction from its partners, requested since the break in 2017. "They have recognized the value of the project carried by 3 Hit Combo" welcomed the organizers.
For the 2019 edition put under the sign of accessibility, the new station in Rennes will be wide open, and a ticket box magazine will be proposed according to festival-goers and festival-goers: players, players, families, competitors, competitors, and professionals.
A game jam in opening
The festival will open on May 11 and 12 with a Game Jam. The entire week will be devoted to exhibitions, shows, parties and entertainment in Rennes and the surrounding area, with a free and open to all.
The Festival will continue on May 17, 18 and 19 at Liberté and on the esplanade Charles de Gaulle to find independent games, E-sports, exhibitions, superplays, concerts.
