Patriarch of Jerusalem after the cancellation of the meeting with Poroshenko received a delegation of the UOC

It is noted that a group of Ukrainian pilgrims headed by the Vicar of the Odessa Diocese, Bishop Victor of the Artsiza, made a trip to Jerusalem.

"In his residence, the pilgrims received the blessed Patriarch of Jerusalem and all Palestine Theophilus III," - said in a statement.

Theophilus III declared that he was praying for peace in Ukraine. Also, the report says that the Patriarch of Jerusalem "gave the primacy blessing to the faithful children of the UOC".

According to RIA Novosti, on the eve of Theophilus III canceled the meeting with Poroshenko.

Earlier, Poroshenko handed the star of the hero to the former head of the non-canonical Kyiv Patriarchate, Filaret.
