Ten months after the US presidential election next month, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton were arrested in secret security stations after attempting to deliver a package of explosives to their home.

[Peter Newsham / Washington Police Department: The parcel in question was found in Detectives in Washington and immediately classified as suspicious parcels.]

Obama lives in Washington, DC, and former President Clinton lives in his home outside of New York City.

[Hillary Clinton: Secretary of State: We are safe with the help of secret agents of the United States Secret Service who have searched for parcels long before they were delivered home.]

In a similar vein, the CNN New York bureau building, critical of Trump, was delivered with a package of suspected explosives, urging employees to evacuate.

"There were wires on the parcel that seemed to be explosive devices," CNN reported.

The parliaments were similar to explosives delivered to New York's home of billionaire George Soros, a Democrat supporter, two days ago.

There is a possibility that the former president is a member of the Democratic Party.

The White House said in a statement that "such acts of terrorism are despicable and responsible to the fullest extent of the law."
