New Zealand paid a solemn and popular tribute to the victims of the killings in Christchurch just a week ago. A white supremacist assassinated 50 people by attacking two mosques, justifying his gesture in a long manifesto riddled with Islamophobic and conspiracy comments. The call for prayer was relayed throughout the country and thousands of people gathered this Friday morning and observed two minutes of silence.
