According to the study, in Moscow the unemployment rate was 1.2%, in St. Petersburg - 1.4%, and in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District - 2.2%.

At the same time, the highest unemployment rate was recorded in Ingushetia (26.3%) and Karachay-Cherkessia (16.2%).

Earlier in the Ministry of Labor, RT was told that 1.4 million citizens were registered as unemployed in 2018, which is 10.4% less than in 2017.

In 2018, the level of registered unemployment in Russia as a whole for the first time in the entire history of observations was below 1%. At the beginning of the year it was 0.9% of the total labor force.
