US President Donald Trump has strongly criticized the work of special investigator Robert Mueller, who handed over his final report on Russian intervention in the US election to the justice minister. Trump denied any complicity with his campaign with Russia. Democratic deputies have demanded that Muller's report be published and that Trump should not be informed in advance.

"People will not accept to appoint someone to write a report about me that determines the fate of my presidency ... We have been in such nonsense for more than two years, nonsense, because it is neither collusion with Russia nor obstruction of justice," Trump said.

US-based CNN reported that Trump, located in Palm Beach, Florida, was surrounded by more than usual staff, especially its legal team.

Trump's statement came after the US Justice Department announced that Muller had handed over his report on Russia's intervention in the 2016 US election to Attorney General William Barr.

In a letter to Congress published by Reuters on Twitter, US Attorney General William Barr said he was reviewing the contents of Muller's report and expected to be able to brief Congress on the report's findings earlier this week.

He said that in consultation with Deputy Justice Minister Rod Rosenstein and Special Investigator Mueller will determine the information that can be shared with Congress and the people, as dictated by the law.

CNN quoted a Justice Ministry official as saying that the ministry would hand over a comprehensive summary of the report to lawmakers within two days before publication.

Three associates close to President Trump have so far been convicted of separate investigations, as well as dozens of indictments and other court memos, one of which shows signs of Trump's continued campaign with businessmen close to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Muller began in 2017 to investigate the possibility of any relationship or coordination between the Russian authorities and individuals associated with President Trump campaign. Trump repeatedly criticized the investigation as a chilling pursuit, accusing Muller of working for the Democrats.

According to the spokesman for the special investigator, the task of Muller expires "in the coming days," spokesman Peter Carr told the French Press "a few staff will remain for a period of time, to help finish the operations of the Office of the investigator."

A senior Justice Ministry official told media outlets that after accusing 34 people, including six former President Trump's aides, the Muller team did not recommend a " New charges are expected.

He added that Muller's inquiries focused on questions about the fairness of American democracy and whether foreign forces had corrupted their election intervention.

In the context, US lawmakers called for the publication of Muller's report and Trump not being informed of it in advance. Steny Hoyer, leader of the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives, urged the Justice Secretary to resist any White House attempt to prevent the publication of Muller's report and to make Muller's report available to Congress and the public.

Sen. Bob Menendez considered the failure to publish Muller's report prompting congressional and American questions about what was to be hidden.
