It was around 3:15 pm when a 57-year-old man from Craon (Mayenne) lost control of his van on Departmental Road 588 near Simplé.
Stuck inside his vehicle and alone on board, the driver was taken care of by firefighters. Seriously injured, he was then transported by road to the University Hospital of Angers.
