The artistic center in Egypt woke up on Friday to the news of the death of actor Hassan Kami at the age of 82, and his funeral was held from the mosque of Mrs. Nafisa.

A life march

He agreed that Cheyala would work for a tourist company to pay for the singing lessons after his family refused to pay for it, but given his proficiency in four languages and his upscale appearance, he had a better chance of working as an airline manager.
Kami spent his last years in his 19th-century Orientalist library in the center of the country, a miniature museum with original books and paintings or a replica.
His wife was run by Rahlia, and the opera actor was there, with a rare manuscript of "Describing Egypt" and more than 40,000 rare books and paintings.
Fulfillment of Representation
Kami wished to become an opera singer, and he had what he hoped for. Having obtained a bachelor's degree in law from Cairo University and studied opera singing at the Conservatoire Institute, he conducted music studies in Italy.
He began his career in 1963 at the Cairo Opera House and performs over 270 international operas in various countries, including Italy, France, the United States, Russia, Japan and other countries, and starred in the Aida Opera in 1974 at the theaters of the Soviet Union.

Kami was the operatic actor who had many dreams of Egyptian and Arab opera, including "Arabization of Opera," an international opera in Arabic and purely Egyptian.
He often expressed his wish that the Egyptian Opera would reach the level of professionalism reached by the theaters of "Al Scala" in the Italian city of Milan, the opera "Metro Politan" in the United States and the Opera "Paris" French.
The Egyptian Opera House did not forget the role of Kami in introducing the Egyptian and Arab public to opera art, so she announced that he had dedicated a minute of mourning to all the opera theaters before the start of her artistic performances, describing him as the opera icon.
