New district imagined more than ten years ago, the Hauts de l'Orne begin to become reality. The first building was inaugurated Thursday, November 22, 2018. Named La Panacée, at the corner of the Harcourt road and Rue du Stade, its approximately 2,500 m² are dedicated to medical and service activities.

By 2030, the Hauts de l'Orne eco-district should have 4,000 inhabitants and 1,800 housing units. For the moment, this new sector of the commune of Fleury-sur-Orne is above all a project on plan, with the exception of the first building already out of the ground. Named La Panacée, this building located at the corner of Harcourt Road and Rue du Stade opens the way to the new district.

Already, a dozen health professionals (general practitioners, physiotherapist, nurse, podiatrist) as well as a real estate agency and a law firm have settled. "On the ground floor, a pharmacy will soon open, after transfer of the activity of two other pharmacies of the town, explains the mayor Marc Lecerf. In total, 60% of the premises have already been marketed. "

The building was financed from own funds (3.8 million euros) by Normandie Aménagement, to whom Caen-la-Mer entrusted the development of the 180 ha of this eco-district. "It will be the first label in the territory of the former Lower Normandy. " Soon, will be laid the first stones of future buildings, this time only for housing: delivery within three years.
