Marine le Pen met in Sofia with officials from other European national-populist formations. The Bulgarian party Volya, the Czech SPD, the Italian League, the Belgian Vlaams Belang, and the Greek New Right Party were represented.

These parties are working on the formation of alliances for the European elections in May 2019, which Marine Le Pen said hoped "a big political shift" .

The EU against Christians?
