The Kuwaiti foreign ministry summoned the Egyptian ambassador to Kuwait Tareq al-Koni on the background of the killing of a Kuwaiti citizen in his apartment in Agouza area in the Egyptian province of Giza a few days ago.
Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid al-Jarallah said that the Egyptian ambassador was informed of Kuwait's intention to send an integrated security delegation to participate in the investigations into the killing of the Kuwaiti citizen, which he described as ugly.
Al-Jarallah confirmed that the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo participated in the preliminary investigations conducted by the Egyptian authorities, until the authorities managed to arrest the perpetrators quickly.
