A 29-year-old resident of Perm, Svetlana Kurbanova, who lost her child and the chance to give birth in the future, intends to obtain moral and physical harm compensation through court. She believes that the negligence of doctors led to the death of her child.
As RT Kurbanova herself told RT, on May 2, 2018, she awoke to abdominal pain. The husband called an ambulance, which brought Svetlana to the Medical Unit №9, where she was examined by a doctor Elena Davydovskaya.
“She stated that it was too early for me to give birth, since it was only 30 weeks, and she sent me to the infectious disease ward,” recalls the woman.
At the same time, according to Kurbanova, Davydovskaya did not carry out additional examinations, such as ultrasound and CTG.
“In the infectious disease ward, I lay until five in the evening, and then I noticed blood discharge in my body,” the woman said. - I was called to the gynecologist, he said that the child's heartbeat is bugged and we must urgently go back to the Medical and Sanitary Unit №9. Then I was taken to the ambulance again to Davydovskaya. But at that time, the child’s heart was no longer tapped and it was necessary to do a cesarean section. ”
Kurbanova signed all the necessary documents and pointed out the phone numbers of her husband and father, so that if necessary, doctors could contact them.
At seven o'clock on the 2nd of May, the woman underwent an operation. She regained consciousness only on 23 May. At the same time, according to Kurbanov's relatives, the doctors only a day later said that the child was born dead, and Svetlana herself in intensive care was connected to a kidney artificial life support device.
"I can never have children"
“I came to my senses on May 23. I had three huge scars on my body: on the abdomen from a cesarean section, on my neck and big from chest to navel, ”says Kurbanova. “A few days later I found out that after a cesarean section I started to bleed heavily.” I lost 4.1 liters of blood and the doctors decided to remove my uterus. And I will never have children. ”
According to Kurbanova, for several days she could not recover from this news and did not know how to say everything to her husband.
At the same time, in 2011, Kurbanova also lost her baby for a period of 27 weeks. Then she was also taken by the doctors of Medical Unit No. 9 and made an appropriate note in the map: in subsequent pregnancy, with the slightest pain in the abdomen, immediately carry out an emergency caesarean.
However, later, according to Kurbanova, this page completely disappeared from the medical record.
“I still don’t understand what caused the bleeding and subsequently led to the removal of the uterus,” says Kurbanova. “I don’t understand why the doctors haven’t apologized to me yet. Removal of the body they had to agree. Warn, notify, but have not done so. "
In her opinion, it was precisely the negligence of doctors that led to such consequences.
In the gynecological department of the Medical Unit number 9 RT reported that Elena Davydovskaya they no longer work. To explain from what date and for what reason the woman quit, the former colleagues refused.
The Ministry of Health of the Perm Territory RT reported that, at the moment, this fact is being checked on the results of which will be reported later.
The check revealed violations
Even when Kurbanova was in the hospital, her father Valery Chemekov wrote a complaint to Roszdravnadzor. Specialists of the department conducted an appropriate check and reported that they revealed violations (a response to the statement is available to RT).
As the press service of the Perm Territory Prosecutor's Office told RT, at the moment there is a pre-investigation check on the revealed violations.
“During the audit, violations were identified. In particular, doctors of the medical organization committed violations of the quality requirements and criteria for providing medical care to the patient. According to the results of the inspection ministries, prescriptions were made to the head doctor of NFM No. 9 with confirmation of non-compliance with the standards of medical care. At present, law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation investigation, the issue of a criminal case is being resolved, ”a spokesman said.
At the moment, the Kurbanovs' family is preparing documents to the court in order to obtain compensation for physical and moral harm.
