Search continues off the coast of Mozambique after at least 97 people died when an overloaded fishing boat sank. Many families, panicked after hearing rumors of a cholera epidemic, rushed onto the boat in an attempt to flee the country.
We propose to bring the month of Ramadan to life in the heart of the only Muslim holy city in Africa, Harar. It is located in the eastern part of Ethiopia. This city has 83 mosques, 3 of which date from the 10th century, and 102 sanctuaries. First closed to the outside world until its integration into Ethiopia in 1887, it then became a trading post, open to the world, mixing cultures. But it has managed to keep its religious traditions which make up the unique identity of its inhabitants, the Hararis.
