Blake Lively will make her comeback in the sequel to director Paul Feig's thriller "A Simple Favor". The American star will once again give the answer to her colleague Anna Kendrick. Unlike six years ago, the film will not be released in cinemas but on Prime Video.

in vf). Good news for all those who were as thrilled as we were by this black comedy starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick: the second part of the film will be released in 2025 on Prime Video! We will find the two main actresses there, filmed by the same director, Paul Feig.
The plot will take place on the island of Capri
In the first part, Stephanie Smothers, a single vlogger played by Anna Kendrick, investigated the mysterious disappearance of her friend Emily Nelson, a businesswoman as beautiful as she was intelligent, played by Blake Lively. The two friends will meet this time on the island of Capri for Emily's extravagant wedding (which Stéphanie ended up meeting in the first film!). Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack will reprise their roles for this sequel which promises to be ultra glamorous, and also very distressing with once again totally improbable situations and murders...
A Simple Favor
won over spectators when it was released in cinemas six years ago. The film grossed no less than $97 million on an initial budget of $20 million.
