The United States is once again either frightening or blackmailing by the fact that, having stepped over the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles, it will engage not only in the large-scale export of democracy, but also in missiles that were previously covered by this treaty.

They torture and blackmail either Russia, or Europe, or themselves, and most likely all at once and just in case.

Such a bad habit.

One thing is clear: sanity and responsible behavior are not even close here.

And now the States, through the mouth of the Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Robert O'Brien, have declared their readiness to deploy medium and short-range hypersonic missiles in Europe.

That is, out of their bounty, they are ready to hand over to Europe a martyr's rocket belt.

And this despite the fact that Russia is constantly talking about the danger of such actions, as well as about its readiness to extend the treaty.

As recently announced by President Putin, who proposed the mutual abandonment of intermediate and shorter-range missiles in Europe.

Of course, all this passed.

It seems that American politicians and statesmen with their statements are hitting stone against stone in order to strike a spark that would return the world in the midst of the Cold War, when the main symbol of Europe was becoming "Euro missiles" - the notorious "Pershing".

Anyone can understand why this is dangerous: the approach of missiles lowers the threshold of possible confrontation and produces many illusions.

In our time, risks increase by an order of magnitude, because there is no trust, because key security agreements are not signed, but, on the contrary, are canceled unilaterally.

Lack of trust is a problem.

At one time, parity and the contractual system were built on this trust and mutual respect.

And most importantly, the very danger of a nuclear-missile collision is perceived by the same States as something virtual, as a field of opportunities, and not an imminent apocalypse.

So Russian diplomats, in response to such statements by the American side, talk about creating the preconditions for a missile crisis, as well as about the start of a new round of the arms race.

As noted by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, "one cannot but cause deep and sincere bewilderment the persistence with which the United States is seeking to create the prerequisites for a new missile crisis in Europe."

Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, also speaks about the crisis, noting the aggressiveness of the American position: "Such irresponsible and politicized steps, if the United States really approached the deployment of its missiles on the territory of European allies, are fraught with a new missile crisis."

But such, as it turned out, are the historical political roles.

Someone speaks of goodwill, calls for it, reminds of the consequences, while someone specializes in the production and imposition of crises.

We are perplexed, we talk about responsibility, but for some reason they need all this.

What's the logic?

First of all, we are talking about psychological pressure.

Attempts to take "weakly".

In fact, this is a serious, almost existential question.

Academician Andrei Sakharov argued about this in the early 80s of the last century.

He wrote that the "potential aggressor" before the prospect of a thermonuclear war expects "the lack of determination of the attacked side to commit suicide."

They are trying to test this determination, especially since a country that speaks not about aggressive plans, but about peacekeeping initiatives, can be driven into such a trap, because it initially feels responsible for its actions.

Here, again, you can recall the 80s, when the Soviet Union moved from the arms race to the disarmament race, to the utopia of Gorbachev's "new thinking", objectively understanding and comprehending the prospects for the final of human civilization in the event of a direct collision.

Apparently, politicians in the United States are hoping that now Russia will follow a similar path.

At first, she will be forced into an arms race, coupled with guilt complexes, then she herself will be intimidated by the prospects and will desire to become different and docile, that is, she will again sacrifice herself in the name of peace.

She will decide that she is the culprit of all troubles and misfortunes, and will commit suicide, as the USSR once did.

One way or another, the scenario "weakly" is clear: vivat, perestroika!

It is clear that this is not only about Russia.

It often happens in America, they say that elements of missile defense are being deployed against Iran, but in fact the goal is different and more obvious.

So in this case, all this personally concerns Europe.

By tightening the rocket chains, the United States plans to upgrade the dependent position of European countries.

And then - has it ever been?

- The Old World began to allow too much.

So "Nord Stream - 2" does not cover up under directives and shouts.

Shirks the role of a front-runner in containing Russia.

He is looking more and more towards sovereignty, so you will get a headache in the form of "Euro-missiles" ...

This is the cynicism of the situation: the rocket flock of "doves of peace", in fact, is designed to mine Europe, which is destined to be a hostage, designed to avert danger from the States themselves.

Honorable role, you will not say anything.

When you watch this whole story, you get the feeling that you are looking through the revived Soviet caricatures of the Kukryniksy.

Many American politicians seem to have left them and make their statements according to the same cartoonish protocol.

What if it was not Hollywood or Disney studio that “drew” them and programmed their actions, but our Kukryniksy?

It is quite plausible.

There and Europe in tight rocket attire.

And an aggressive primate with a club rocket.

And deafening shouts about the Soviet threat, under which missiles are generously exported.

There is also a "Washington dove" with the same rocket filling.

And the obsessive image-complex of the world gendarme, which has long since passed into the format of an extremely dangerous and destructive idea.

Not tired?

Already during the Cold War, they walked on the brink, and now, in general, criminal vulgarity.

So Maria Zakharova advised "the American political elite to restrain not Russia, but itself."

But for this they need to come to their senses, get off cartoons and get away from caricature thinking.

Russia is just consistently demonstrating common sense, restraint, responsibility and adherence to agreements.

She is traditionally responsible for the world.

They are trying to shatter her - to unbalance her, transfer her to the sphere of impulsive actions and to the emotional plane, where one can impose her logic on her.

The fundamental difference in positions is perfectly clear.

For some, the rattling of weapons is almost a virtual superhero tin in the spirit of cartoons about Star Wars and SDI, shown at one time.

For others ... what can I say?

They know in Russia what war is, they will not forget.

Therefore, they warn, appeal to reason.
