Full of love for every character

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One point: How did you feel when you learned that you won the prize?

Ren Dahua: I did not expect to win this award. Thank them for their support and love to me. I often say that as long as you are full of love in every character, you can impress and get the audience's love.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One point: From the roles of gangsters and policemen, to the tenderness of the father and husband in "The Thief of Time" and "Macao People", you have performed a state of ease with different types of roles. How to do it?

Ren Dahua: I think it's because I have love for every character, whether I go to a police movie, a gangster movie, or "The Thief", I put different emotions and different hearts into it.

Although I am not from a major, I think nature is the best, so I can perform good works.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One Point: What impression did the shooting of "Macao People" leave you?

Ren Dahua: As a man, I think family is very important to me.

The biggest significance of the drama "Macao People" to me is that it gives my family the warmth.

The filmmakers come and go, every day is a different friend, and I run around outside every day when filming, I can’t go home with my children and my wife, but through the filming of this show, I spent a few months with other actors, everyone. We are all a family. The most fun thing is that we eat together every day. It feels like home.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One Point: Have you been separated from your family for a long time in this TV series?

Ren Dahua: Yes, I haven't seen each other for 4 months.

I can only talk to them on the phone via video, but Qiqi and his family have always encouraged me to say that you must use your heart in every shot and perform Liang Dingwen in the shot to the best. My family gave me a lot of encouragement.

The taste of macaroons is in my heart

Qilu Evening News Qilu One Point: What do you think is the charm of Liang Dingwen's role?

Ren Dahua: His charm lies in his ability to take all things and responsibilities in his heart, and pass on the family's inheritance through making macaroons for decades.

I saw many friends who went to Macau and bought macaroons when they came back. From the 1950s to the present, this craft still exists in Macau, so that all viewers who watch "Macau People" can see that the whole Macau is Almond flavor, the flavor of almond biscuits will always be in the hearts of the people, and will remain in Macau forever.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One Point: In the process of filming, how many times did you make almond cookies by yourself?

Ren Dahua: I make fresh one once a week.

Because we have a lot, but in the crew, I can make about 20 yuan a week. When we have afternoon tea, Jiang Shan and Ke Lan and I share this cake while drinking tea.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One point: In this drama, macaroons are an important element throughout the play. What kind of meaning do you think macaroons represent?

Ren Dahua: The almond biscuits give "Macao People" a taste. Whether you watch the drama or not, this taste will always be in your heart.

It's hardest to keep feelings in your heart

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One Point: During the filming of "Macao People", which segment was the most challenging for you?

Ren Dahua: Almost every scene is a challenge for me, because I usually like to laugh and play with them.

But in the play this character never laughs.

So the most difficult thing is how to keep my feelings in my heart, this is the most difficult.

As soon as I finished filming, I laughed and had a meal with them, but as soon as I arrived at the scene, I had to put my smile away and put my emotions in the scene. Because the scene was shot, I need to be careful about which one in the scene. A little smile, where should I put it, until finally Ke Lan (the role played) opened my heart, I only smiled.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One Point: At the Golden Eagle Awards ceremony, in the video, there are old neighbours and friends saying that you have acted live the life changes in Macau over the past 30 years. It is very real. How did you bring this reality in the filming Feeling?

Ren Dahua: Macau is very familiar to me. I have experienced the modernization of Macau from the 1950s to the present. I used to go to Macau when I was a child. I went to Macau many times a year and I bought macaroons every year.

In this play, I use my familiarity with Macau, my familiarity with macaroons, my understanding of Macau people who help each other, and the family story of macaroons that I know before and now in Macau, through the role of Liang Dingwen. Enough.

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One point: Actually, the subject matter of "Macao Family" is very different from your previous works. What have you gained after filming "Macao Family"?

Ren Dahua: My family concept is very important. Family is very important and very important.

After filming this scene, give me this idea, we must go home for dinner, must be reunited, family is the most important thing for every man.

Movies bring me vitality

Qilu Evening News·Qilu One point: You have been known as "Desperate Saburo" after more than 40 years of work. What kind of feelings have made you have such a persistent love for acting?

Ren Dahua: Because movies bring me a lot of different vitality, each movie is in a different place, at a different time, and brings me a lot of vitality through different characters. This is very important, so I like shooting with newcomers, because Young people bring me endless vitality and a lot of enthusiasm.

I often say that I like acting, and I hope to act for a long time, I hope I can have the opportunity to play more small people, and put the experiences of friends from all walks of life in each role.

Qilu Evening News · Qilu One Point: What is your recent itinerary?
