Autumn and winter are the seasons for high incidence of respiratory infectious diseases. Recently, cases of asymptomatic infection of new coronary pneumonia have appeared in the field.

The Shanghai Health Promotion Center once again reminds the general public to be vigilant, take personal protection seriously, protect themselves and others.

We must adhere to the implementation of the "three-piece epidemic prevention package" of "scientifically wear masks, maintain social distancing, and pay attention to personal hygiene."

Specifically do the following six details:

1. Wear a mask

Wear masks in a standard manner. Pay attention to taking public transportation, entering densely crowded or poorly ventilated places, going to the hospital for treatment, and consciously wearing masks when you have respiratory symptoms.

2. Keep a good distance

Reduce going to crowded or relatively closed places, observe order in public places, avoid crowding, consciously maintain social distance with others, and avoid contact with people with respiratory symptoms.

3. Cover your mouth and nose

Try to avoid others when coughing or sneezing. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or bent elbow to prevent droplets from splashing.

Discard the used tissue immediately and wash your hands.

Fourth, wash your hands

Frequent hand washing is one of the simple and effective measures to prevent infectious diseases. Use running water and soap or hand sanitizer in a timely manner before and after meals, after touching public goods, after coughing and sneezing, covering your mouth and nose, before and after touching fresh food. The seven-step hand washing method regulates hand washing, especially remember not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with dirty hands.

 Five, open the windows

Frequent opening of windows for ventilation can maintain indoor air circulation and reduce the risk of disease transmission. Ventilate at least twice a day for more than 30 minutes each time.

Six, do a good job of monitoring

If symptoms such as fever, cough, fatigue, etc. occur, wear a mask, go to the nearest fever clinic for investigation and treatment in time, and avoid taking public transportation as much as possible during medical treatment.
