[Details] Shigeru Yokota Farewell Party Greetings from Sakie Yokota and others October 24, 17:43

A farewell party for Shigeru Yokota, the father of Megumi Yokota, who was abducted by North Korea and died in June, was held.

Greetings from my wife Sakie (84) and Shigeo Iizuka (82), the representative of the abduction victims' family association.

Sakie Yokota

Hello everyone.

Today, from everyone who does not know how much they have taken care of Shigeru's farewell party, we have gathered such a lot of hearts, remembered Shigeru, and received various wonderful words. I really appreciate it.

We are just a normal family, and my husband was a father who really cares about his family, so there is no honor or greed, and the whole family is cheerful, fun, energetic, and grows up. He was the only person who just wanted me to do it.

I am grateful that he was a good dad who really took me to many places and was not stiff.

That gentle person, how strong he is as soon as his important daughter is gone.

I've always been surprised to be behind and always act together.

However, I remember many things from Megumi's childhood.

It was when I was little, but when my dad goes down to work from the 4th floor and goes out to the road, I see him off from the net, but every day I always say, "Daddy, today is sweet. I always say "Please buy it, please buy me sweets today", so the people in the condominium laughed at me, "I'm saying sweets again."

It was such a really close parent and child.

It was a busy time when I was swayed by my twin boys, so it was really helpful for my dad to do everything.

It's such a really normal happy family.

This is not only us, but Iizuka-san, Arimoto-san, and the rest of the family members, all of us have worked together as hard as we can to rescue them. However, I still don't know anything about the people other than Mr. Hasuike's return, and I pray every day with my dad, believing that I'm sure I'm alive and well. I'm talking.

If I get depressed and feel depressed, I think that I will not be able to stand up because I am old.

My dad is always inside my house, and when I wake up in the morning, I spend my time talking to the photos saying "Good morning dad" and "I'm fine today, I'm sorry to eat only me."

I haven't solved it yet, I'm still working hard over there, always thinking, "If you don't help me, I'll have to do my best", but it's true that many Megumi-chan and others feel regrettable and regrettable. , I have a lot of desires to be a substitute.

This is a big problem, but I hope that Prime Minister Suga, Chief Cabinet Secretary Kato, and Shinzo Abe will do their best to realize it.

We believe in that, and hope that the day will come, believe in it, and pray.

I think everyone in the country would think that their children would do the same thing.

I'm not saying, "I'm sorry because I'm a stranger," but maybe I was the same, maybe the child next door.

I was really worried about why I was here, but if you really seriously think about what I would do if my relatives were like this, I would definitely be together and this should work for Japan. I think you have to think.

We hope that all of Japan will have a joyful day for a solution here.

Thank you very much for today.

Shigeo Iizuka, Representative of the Family Association of Abducted Victims

"Dad, I'm home" "Welcome back, Megumi" You've been waiting for this word for years.

I have been working to rescue my daughter for a long time since March 5, 1997.

During that time, of course, not only Megumi Yokota but also other victims' families have been involved in rescue activities.

However, there is no long-term achievement.

I'm sure you all have these feelings, and thank you for attending this farewell party today.

The question is how well can we follow this event?

The rest of the family is getting older and weaker.

Including such things, it is the wish of all Japanese people to resolve the abduction issue.

Of course, our family is also taking the lead in some of these activities, but it's hard to say that we have a track record or that we can't move.

This time, the Cabinet has also changed, and I would like to ask you to take immediate action to resolve the abduction issue, which has been an important issue for the country that has been taken over.

We would like to work with the rest of our family and the people to resolve the abduction issue and use this as a thank-you to Shigeru Yokota.

But when can this be done?

Anyway, I would like to work hard together with you to solve this problem.

Thank you very much for today.
