Last May, actor and comedian Dany Boon announced the very first film inspired by confinement.

"We are writing a story that tells the life of a confined building. From shops on the ground floor, to maids' rooms," he explained.

The film, which will be titled

8 rue de l "Humanité,

will be shot next month in Belgium, and will be released directly on the Netflix platform, according to Satellifax.

Produced by Netflix and Pathé, released in 2021

The pitch of this comedy revives common memories.

Seven families, who remained in their building in Paris while others preferred to flee the capital, find themselves confined for several weeks, between joy and anxiety.

Among the headliners, Line Renaud, Laurence Arné, and obviously Dany Boon, who will wear the double cap of actor and director.

Filming is due to start on November 8 in Belgium for a period of six weeks and will be released directly on Netflix, which produces the film with Pathé.

It is scheduled to go live in 2021.
