• Galicia. Ourense pharmacies, the first in Spain to carry out tests to "help stop the contagion curve"

The Xunta has agreed this Tuesday that the meetings

in Galicia

are

limited to a maximum of five people,

instead of the limit of 10 set a week ago, once the increase in active cases, infections and hospitalizations had been verified.

The new limitations, which the government of

Alberto Núñez Feijóo

has advanced in a press release after a long meeting of the clinical committee that advises the Executive on the management of the pandemic, will be published this Wednesday in the official community gazette and

will enter into vigor from midnight on Thursday.

Among other worrying data, the incidence of Covid-19 in educational centers has experienced a rebound in recent days.

According to the data provided by the health authorities, the positives this Tuesday already exceeded 600 in these facilities (601), specifically 83 more than those reported on Saturday.

This has forced the closure of a point of care for children in Boborás (Ourense).

In total, there are two centers that remain closed due to coronavirus cases: the PAI of Boborás, with a positive, and the Santa Ana nursery school in Celanova, which has two cases confirmed by Covid.

With these, there are already three educational facilities that have been forced to close due to the incidence of the pandemic since the beginning of the course, together with the Calasancio de Pontevedra multilingual school.

For older people, there are 22 closed classrooms throughout the Galician territory.

The Ourense area, for its part, continues to register the worst contagion figures in all of Galicia and maintains six closed units, in addition to these two nursery schools.

Despite this, it has fewer cases than on Saturday, 157 positives compared to the 182 indicated in the last active positive balance, in addition to about six closed classrooms.

The most important cases are registered precisely in this health area.

Among them, the IES O Couto, the Santa Teresa de Jesús Plurilingual CPR and the Luis Vives de Ourense, which maintain up to eight positives respectively.

Another of the points highlighted by the number of positives in its centers is O Carballiño, which has eight infections in the Plurilingual Sagrado Corazón and in IES No. 1.

In recent days, Santiago de Compostela has tightened the penalties for organizing uncontrolled parties in flats up to 1,500 euros for repeat offenders.
