In Châteaubriant, the epidemic situation of the coronavirus has led the authorities to take various measures in recent days, in addition to those already in force in the department.

If the other cities are still spared, it is for example the only one where the closure of bars at 10 p.m. has been decided since the end of last week.

The sale of alcohol to take away and the consumption of alcohol on public roads are also prohibited between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

In addition, a massive testing campaign will be launched from Wednesday.

For eight days, the inhabitants of Châteaubriant and the surrounding area can come and test themselves free of charge at the Halle de Béré.

A complement to the medical biology laboratory "which will continue to screen symptomatic people, high-risk contact cases and people for whom preoperative screening is requested," says the ARS.

The situation is deteriorating in Loire-Atlantique

In the Loire-Atlantique department, still classified as an “alert zone”, the situation continues to deteriorate.

According to the latest indicators published this Tuesday by the ARS, the incidence rate has now reached 168.3 per 100,000 inhabitants and 10.1% for the positivity rate.

In Châteaubriant at the end of last week, the first figure was 280 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
