On September 25, the Hong Kong Garrison organized joint naval and air patrols in the third quarter of 2020. Relying on the patrol missions, the army, navy and air forces carried out joint search and rescue, naval and air patrols, joint verification, mutual confrontation and other actual combat exercises to comprehensively inspect the station.   At 8:40 in the morning, the command post issued an order, and the Air Force helicopter took off immediately. The navy ship completed the patrol force preparation and battle position deployment and left the Stonecutters Island Naval Base.

This is a joint naval and air patrol operation organized by the Hong Kong Garrison. Army, navy and air forces rely on patrol missions to carry out actual combat exercises.

  This exercise was conducted in a number of arms including special warfare, air defense, naval vessels, and radar, in accordance with the requirements of actual combat, with continuous implementation and red-blue confrontation.

Through sea and air patrols, the Hong Kong Forces normalizes emergency combat readiness exercises, actively explores and solves multiple problems in operations such as command, communication, coordination, and support, and fully tempers the emergency response capabilities of the force commander and the rapid response capability of the force.

  During the entire patrol process, the Hong Kong troops stationed in Hong Kong strictly abide by the laws and regulations on Hong Kong waterways, ports and aviation management, and notified relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in advance.
